Funniest thing I have seen in a long time! Thanks for the link Crimsondove....

Your Score: Spice Melange

You scored 75% intoxication, 75% hotness, 75% complexity, and 75% craziness!

You are Spice. You're not from around here, are you? You're extremely valuable. While you resemble mundane cinnamon, you are much more interesting. People fight wars over you, but your giant worms protect you. You enlighten people; make them aware, prescient, even clairvoyant. Your pure essence can reveal people's true selves, if they survive their encounter with the real you. You're addictive, dangerous, seductive, and above all else, necessary for space travel.

Dear Diary Friday....

WOOO HOOOOO FOR FRIDAY!

So our company party was last night and I decided not to attend, just because the lure of free booze would be more than I could pass up....and after hearing the stories today, I am glad I didn't go! There was a pre-game party at the hotel in a room, then the party, then a post-game party at the Tavernacle and then a post-post game party at a friends house in the avenues. If I had gone, I KNOW I would have a) made a total ass out of myself in front of co-workers, and b) would be sick today and I just can't afford that right now. So I was a good girl and stayed back and took my parent's shopping instead. Sometimes being an adult really sucks!!!

Dylan is going into work early tonight so he and I won't be seeing anything of each other due to me having an appointment after work. And as soon as I get home, I have plans on doing some things around the house so we don't have to worry about them for the next couple of weeks. And maybe, JUST MAYBE, I will have the energy after that to start my wrapping....but we will see.

And I know that this is completely geeky, but I love, love, LOVE getting Christmas cards! I don't know why....but the pretty pictures on the front always make me so happy!!!! Universe, send me lots and lots and lots of Christmas cards this year!

And blessings to all that you have a restful, re-cooperative, and wonderfully fun weekend....I think we all deserve it.

Dear Diary Thursday....

Company Christmas party is tonight....I won't be attending. It is not that I am not in the spirit, but two different reasons. First, I like the people that I work with but I already spend 9-10 hours with them every single day......I don't want to spend an additional 3-4 hours on top of that tonight with them. Secondly, I want to see my family after work. I LIKE to see my husband and my folks every night.

Had my follow up doctor's appointment last night and everything went great. We went through the list of symptoms that I had and almost every single one of them is completely gone. I do still have moments where I "feel" I am going to get dizzy, but then it goes away. We also talked about how long I will be on the medication, and I was very honest with her and told her that I would be completely okay being on this for the rest of my life as long as it keeps all those horrible symptoms away from me....which she laughed. She said I was the first person to be so honest with her about staying on the medication....and she doesn't have a problem with me staying on it either. I have another follow up appointment in 6 months to see if the medication is still working, or if we need to move to something else.

After that, I spent some time with the folks and then headed home. Dylan had done our Costco shopping so we put all that away, then Dylan got our veggies and fruit ready for the week. I love it when he does things like that.

And I am looking forward to my weekend! Michelle was gracious enough to organize a dinner for everyone on Saturday and it will be great to hang out with everyone, even for just a little while. Then we are going to head out to get our Christmas shopping done....and then continue on with that on Sunday. WOO HOO for Christmas shopping!

Dear Diary Wednesday....

Sleeping last night SUCKED! I woke up at 10:00pm and couldn't get back to sleep until some time after midnight and then woke up at 3:40 am and just said "FUCK IT" and got up! I hate nights like that!

WW went great last night....it is always nice to feel like you are on track and have started to accomplish a goal. My first goal was just to have lost something and I did. My next weeks goal is to lose the same amount or a little bit more. I know I won't be a size 6 ever again in my life, and I really don't want to be. I just want to feel healthier than I do now and I am on my way.

After that, Dylan and I relaxed a little bit and I took a nice, long, extra hot bath and read a bit and went to bed....only to not sleep well. Oh well, I guess I should feel blessed that I got any sleep at all. I am sure that somewhere in China or Africa there is a poor person that doesn't have any sleep at all....

Oh, and should I mention I have PMS or are you picking it up from this post?

Dear Diary Tuesday...

What a busy couple of days. Sunday, Dylan and I returned Sooty to Petco and decided not to take a chance with getting another hamster there. We decided to stop at Mark's Arc and found that they had a great selection of Black Bear Hamsters....just what I wanted! So, I picked out the very smallest one and took him home....his name is Skittles and he could not be more cute.

We then went over to my folks house and got out all of their Christmas decorations, decorated the house and got the tree up for them. While that was going on, my Mom and me decided to clean all the windows, which is always an experience watching my Mom hang out the window in the front to clean the outside! Scary!

Yesterday I came home from work and got the tree decorated and did a few other little things, oh, and I got the Christmas cards mailed (YAY!) and then relaxed. My Mom had also made Dylan and I some lasagna, so we didn't have to worry about dinner. It was nice getting a number of things accomplished and being able to go to bed and totally relax.

Tonight....another busy night. I have a nail appointment and then my first weight in at WW....and after that I think when I get home I will do some vacuuming because decorating the tree go the carpet dirty. My goal is to do a few little things every night so I don't have to do them on the weekend, since my weekend is going to involve finishing my Christmas shopping!

And much love out to anyone and everyone who is in need of it right now. I am feeling a "tug" on my energy so I don't know who is borrowing it, but ENJOY!

Dear Diary Sunday....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TONI! May the Fates bless you with happiness, good health, and the continued ability to kick anyone's ass that you decide to. Love ya!

And R.I.P to the little Sooty. She passed on Saturday morning due to complications from Wet Tail disease. It was sad, but I knew it was coming. I have been trying all week to save her from this and it did not work. May the Goddess hold you tight in her arms until we meet again.

The weekend has been crazy, hectic, but fun! I took Friday off from work and spent the day shopping, shopping, and shopping with my folks. Then I got home just in time to go get dinner with Dylan and we headed to the Floggin Molly concert. My knee was killing me, but we endured and had an enjoyable, yet smoke filled evening. After that, the journey began! The snow was already impossible and it took us over an hour to get home! We literally drove 15 mph the whole way. When we finally made it home, Dylan decided to call in to work and he stayed up all night shoveling!

Saturday morning I got up, got out the snowblower, and between Dylan and I we almost managed to get half of the block shoveled out! It was CRAZY! Then we headed over to Cafe Trang for Dylan's Mom's birthday dinner. Words could not express the evening, but we had fun anyways.

Today, not sure exactly what today will involve, but I think we might be heading to Petco and then maybe relax a little....at least that is what I am HOPING will happen, but we will see. Oh, I know I need to get some stamps to get my X-mas cards in the mail.

And much love and thanks to Toni, Shane, and Michelle this week....you all made my week in different ways. Oh, and Shane and Chet...looking forward to the parties, as I know they will be remarkable as they always are!

Happy Sunday to everyone...and be careful driving!
