Dear Diary Thursday...

Once again I have proven myself so valuable that I got screwed at work. I actually had tomorrow scheduled off, but my boss said she can only have me leave a half day early as "she doesn't feel comfortable when both she and I are off at the same time." Now, let me clarify.....the other two researchers have SENIORITY over me and one of them was a former SUPERVISOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Huh? So, I get to leave at 10:00 am instead of just not being there. And I am sure I won't even be able to leave THAT early because something always comes up that causes me to have work later and later and later. Oh well.....at least I have a wonderful weekend to look forward to.

The weekend is going to consist of NOTHING. Dylan and I are going to the Pet Expo at Southe Towne Expocenter, and I think we are going to barbecue dinner one night, but most of this weekend is unplanned....and meant to be that way so we can just have some time together. And the best part of the weekend....NOTHING PLANNED INVOLVING THE HOUSE....no shopping, no repairing....NOTHING INVOLVING THE HOUSE. If you can't tell, I am pretty damn excited about that.

I would catch up with what happened this week, but I don't wanna.....

Dear Diry Sunday...

This weekend turned out almost perfect and everything that I needed to get my energy back on track.

Friday, Dylan and I took the Netzlers and Chet and Shane to dinner to Trio, suggested by Shane. It is a wonderful restaraunt with fantastic food, a fun atmosphere, and I could not have been more delighted with the company. We then came back to our house to have drinks and just relax...making fun of porn AND the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. And on the note, who the hell designed that Olympic Torch? It was HORRIBLE and looks like one of the stacks of the oil refineries out in North Salt Lake!!!

Anyways, Saturday worked for four hours, so I did some cleaning and straightened up the house. When he got home we went to see "Spiderman 2" which is a horrible movie. It is one of the worst chick flicks I have ever had to sit through. I have now dubbed it the "Never-ending Story" because it just kept going and going. There was not a lot of action, but I must say, the action sequences that they did throw in were amazing. On a scale of one to ten, it got about a three....and that is being generous. After that, we went and did a bit of shopping and then Dylan and I went to the Magic Wok as I have been craving some brocolli and beef. We then headed to Pier 1 Imports and John Paras just to look around. By the time we got home we were both so exhausted that we just went to bed.

Today is my sister Janet's birthday, so the folks and I are going out to her place. Before that I am going shopping with the folks. Yes, I am trying to "play nice" with my mom, as it is driving my dad batty. I think she has had enough time with me staying away to know I am hurt and pissed and so she is playing nice as well.

Oh, and the best part of the weekend is when our doorbell rang yesterday and on my door step was JEFFY. It was wonderful to see him, if only for a few moments. He is just so darn cute!!!
