Let the insanity begin.....

Well, the official "Our daughter is all ours again on the weekend!" has begun and here I am at my computer at 7:15 pm on a Saturday and my ass has been kicked!

It started with Mom and I getting up and "only" doing the animal and Costco shopping.....but it turned out to be more, MUCH more! She wanted to go to the Farmer's Market at Pioneer Park and I ended up buying a 40+ pound Greenriver Watermelon for my daddy, a HUGE crenshaw melon, raw almonds, cashews, apricots and Jordan Almonds, fresh blackberries and fresh figs and THEN CARRYING THEM BACK TO THE SUV! Oh my god!! Then we did the Petsmart shopping and then the Costco shopping. Left the house at 10:00 am and got back here at 2:30 pm only to unload the entire SUV, which by the way was totally filled, for my daddy to say, "C'mon we are going to LOWES!" So then I ran back out and drove us to Lowe's to buy a NEW FREAKIN' BBQ!!! So that only weighed about 300 pounds and we loaded that into the suv and drove that home. THEN we ate a hurried dinner, went outside, cleaned up all the corn in our garden and tied the cornstalks to decorate our yard for Halloween. THEN we axed out 5 rose bushes in the garden. THEN we went across the street to help our neighbor load a huge and heavy stump into the back of a trailor to be removed. THEN we (actually I with directions from daddy) put the HUGE AND HEAVY BBQ TOGETHER! I am so sore and tired that I can't feel my legs!!! And let's discuss tomorrow....

So, as we were downtown at Pioneer Park, I drive Mom past the Gateway, so she has decided that we are going to the Gateway tomorrow. Oh!!!

Oh, and I completely forgot that we started off by going to Big Lots this morning. Yep, the Halloween decorations are out and I have bought a whole bunch of new stuff. And when were at the neighbors helping move the stump another neighbor came over to make sure that we are decorating for Halloween this year because "God blessed them with moving them so close to a neighbor who makes Halloween special for everybody." Ahhhhhhhhh........
Apparently his kids love the decorated yard and pumpkins we have, so it is good to know that others appreciate the efforts as much as we do. Now only if the Halloween Fairy would just come and decorate for me.....

Pray for me! I am thinking every weekend is going to be a new saga for me.........

Things to catch you up on.......

1. I have a new black bear ( NOT teddy bear) hamster and his name is Nibs (or Nibley) as he is like a little piece of black licorice. Black Bear hamsters are a relatively new breed of hamster and have been genetically engineered to be less aggressive, more docile I also believe that they have been genetically engineered to take over the world and one day they will all band together with little military outfits and small handguns and lasers and make us all of their slaves.

2. Joan Jett was the best concert in the entire world and if I was going to have a crush on a woman it would be her.

3. I won't be going into work tomorrow so that I may spend time with Dylan.

4. Having lunch with the Pit Boss is hella fun and educational.

5. The parents are doing wonderful and are currently working on their quilts.

6. Rocky Pointe Haunted house opens tomorrow and the Haunted Woods or Forest in American Fork opens next week.....keep your calendars open for us all getting together next Saturday for THAT to start!!!

Jury is still out.....

Today was the perfect day for watching movies...so I did, and now I am baffled. I bought "Queen of the Damned" and everybody has told me how horrid this movie was. So, I watched it with very low expectations and knowing that there was not a chance that they could have followed the novel, which I was correct in assuming, and because of those two things, the movie was actually not as bad as I had believed. Would I watch it again? Probably. Would I suggest everybody watch it? Probably not. However, it just lets me know how easily I can be amused by the pain of others.

The party at JJ's was phenomenal. Going into that event with very low expectations because of the weather, I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I had. A little too much to drink, but it was wonderful. JJ, Toni, and I are a caustic group when together and mixed with alcohol, but I believe that made it even more amusing. Oh and was anybody as impressed as I was about how clean we had that place and how quickly?? Oh and there was a cute, but private moment, between my Jer-bear and myself. I was coming out of the kitchen with my arms loaded and snapping to Dylan to come and help me and Dylan was not paying attention, but the minute I snapped my fingers, here comes Jer-Bear running to me asking me what I needed....now if that does not show how well my Boys are trained, I don't know what does. That and he just loves me!! I am getting Brad a little more trained, but he will be easier since JJ has had him for so long *wink*. Oh and the Brad hair...damn, that was the best!!!

Okay, I think that the Fair food has come full circle and is starting to take its toll. Oh and the reason for now Fair Cotton Candy Coma...Toni and Rob helped me with the bag of cotton candy so I was okay. I think that is the way to go for now one. And yes, JJ the goats were DAMN cute!!!
