Dear Diary Monday...

Not a lot to say right now. My Dad had his "halo" removed and is now in a soft collar. To be honest, I actually removed the halo neck brace on Saturday and let him start wearing the soft collar then but had to put the hard collar back on for his doctor's appointment today so that the doctor could "officially" discharge him to the soft collar. Dylan took my parent's to the appointment today so that I don't have to miss much work from the new job, so I didn't get to see his happiness at having the soft collar officially given to him to only wear for four more weeks, just to wean himself off of it, but I have no doubt that my Daddy is the happiest he has been in a long, long time.

Tomorrow my Mom is going in for cataract surgery and so I am having to take the day off work as she doesn't want anyone else taking her. Not a problem. This is a pretty quick surgery and so after we are finished, I will spend the day taking care of her and my Dad, probably doing some laundry here at the house, and just maybe doing a little relaxing.

The weekend was alright. I spent most of it cleaning the house, doing laundry, and doing a whole bunch of yard work at the folks house. I unfortunately missed the Oscar Party at Shane and Chets, which I completely regret, but unforseen events came up and my Sunday didn't turn out to be the way I wanted it.

I wish I had more exciting news to say, but I haven't been in the mood to discuss things, talk to anyone, or even really socialize. I have a lot of things going on in my head right now and a few huge issues I need to sort out, so I will be back to blogging when I feel more grounded.

And big, big, big love out to Jeff and his wonderful, sainted Mom, Zelda, who is recovering nicely at her other son's home. Ya know I wuva, wuva, wuva you, My Jeffy.
