Dear Diary Friday....
I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night because I had one cat that decided she needed to be a pest until I threw her off the bed and one bed partner who was having some sort of foot or leg issues most of the night. Squirming in bed will keep me awake and make me not such a happy person the following morning.
After work last night I went and got my nails and eyebrows done and then came home to find Dylan exhausted, in bed. He had spent the entire day with my Daddy putting the patio furniture together and was sore. However, he decided that we were going to go out to dinner and then do some grocery shopping. The evening was wonderful and it was so much fun just to spend some time together. I loved every single moment!!!
Today I have to take the folks to a high school reunion and then I plan on getting to bed relatively early because I feel I am lacking in sleep for some reason. I think the change that I can feel in the weather is making me more tired and will probably continue to make me tired until I adjust. I hate the whole "adjusting" part....
The weekend is shaping up nicely. Tomorrow is the barbecue at our home and Sunday I am going to dinner with Dylan's folks for my birthday. Not one bit of relaxing, but spending time with people I love is wonderful. Now Dylan and I just need to start planning the Housewarming party...!
Oh, the bad voices....

Dear Diary Tuesday...
Ah, today was eventful! I got home from work today, grabbed Mom and we headed for the gym. We did another 45 minute work out and then I had to head to Weight Watchers to weight in since they were closed on Saturday. Well, the gal told me not to expect a weight loss since I always weight in in the morning and by the evening you will probably put on anywhere from 3 to 3.5 pounds. Well, I only put on one pound, so I was not so upset since I totally expected and my weight in on Saturday will be good and I should have lost weight by then. Then I headed back to drop Mom off, picked up a few more things from the house and headed home...to where I discovered I had locked myself out! Yep, it finally happened. I knew that it eventually would, but I did not think this soon! So I trudged back to the folks house and hung out for 2.5 hours with them until Dylan came home and rescued me. And the worst part is I was going to get home, clean the whole house, have the laundry done so we could just relax. Well, I sent him to go and get us Subway for dinner and I did manage to do the laundry, clean the kitty litter, get the kids fed, vacuum the entire upstairs, and start the dishwasher all before he got home. Oh, and water all the plants. I about killed myself getting it done so quickly but I had plans and by damn they were going to be accomplished tonight!!!
Way to go Connie on another awesome letter to the Tribune, however, I think maybe it is time to stop now that you are getting stalkers calling your Mom's house which also means that they can find out where she lives.....just a thought.....
And keep up the positive energy and thoughts for my Jeffy, he is still a very sick boy and needs all the help he can get!!!!

Dear Diary Monday...
Today was an awesome day. I came into work with a ton of stuff to catch up on for being out on Friday, which I managed to do within a couple of hours and than began to tackle a couple of major projects, which I loved every minute of doing. Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues that came up today which put a bit of a damper, one way or another, on the day. One is finding out that a dear childhood friend's grandmother passed away yesterday. This friend is a very remarkable young man and the passing of the woman who helped raise him hit home today because it is one more loss to this young man that he did not need. Secondly was hearing somebody in my department ANNOUNCING to the rest of the world what another co-worker was going to be doing this weekend (having a small gathering of friends/co-workers/family to a Fun Party) and then seeing WHO WANTED TO GO! Yep, she invited everyone and anybody to somebody elses gathering. Thank the Goddess nobody took her up on it but it just irked me to no end that somebody would take it upon themselves to announce/invite other folks into somebody elses life! Call me crazy, but that was just plain rude. Anyways.....
Went to the gym after work and had a great work out. Then Mom and I hit the Walgreens and the Shopko to pick up some stuff in their adds. I did not get anything too exciting...some more sweats, some sports bras, some kleenex....pretty boring stuff. However, it was wonderful spending more time with my mother and we are back on track with each other....it feels almost like I have not moved out...just the way it should. I know it is strange, but my Mom is my best friend and I can't stand having any kind of strain between us.
Oh and big hugs and well wishes to my Jeffy...he is again with head cold. Send him all of your positive energy....

Dear Diary Sunday...
What a fantastic day so far! I got up this morning and went over to the folks and hung out and had breakfast with them. Mom and I then decided to go shopping. I needed to go to Barnes and Nobles to get some new books, but we were very early so we ended up going over to Sears to walk around. Well, HUGE sale at Sears! I bought me a whole bunch of new work clothes, and are you ready for this and sitting down....I have gone down 4 sizes ALMOST 6! I could not believe it!!! I also got two new pairs of shoes, which I really did need Toni!
After Sears, we walked over to Wild Oats, did some little shopping there, and then over to Barnes and Nobles where I went crazy again! I figured once in awhile you need to really splurge on yourself and this was my weekend.
We then left and went to the new Wal-Mart, which I love, and did all of the grocery shopping for the week. Now I am home, relaxing with a huge glass of ice water and trying to decide what to do for dinner.
It is so nice to be back in a better frame of mind than I was yesterday. And all of the new clothes in SMALLER SIZES has helped a great deal as well!
