Dear Diary Friday...

I have been super good....I have made it to the gym, so far, three times this week and plan on going tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday. I hope that doing 5 to 7 days at the gym per week, an hour or more an evening, I might be in a bit better shape for the upcoming vacations we have planned. Oh, and I will be starting a new diet, on top of WW and the gym, so hopefully the pounds will fly off.

Weekend has not turned out to be anything. Like I stated, I know I am going to the gym. Other than that, the only thing I have planned is going over to my folks house and getting the garage and the hothouses ready for to get my Dad into the mood to get seeds in the ground. Oh, I might also go visit my cousin who is back in the hospital. She has a "bleeder" and they pumped 6 pints of blood out last Sunday from her right lung, which then proceeded to collapse. They performed surgery on Tuesday to remove additional blood and blood clots and to get the lung going again. We will see how this progresses for her because, to be honest, this lady has gone through more pain in the last year than ANYONE should ever have to endure in their entire lives. She still has a gigantic opening in her stomach that they will never be able to can actually put your whole hand in it if you really wanted to and you can watch her internal organs moving. She is pretty restricted to her bed, able to get up maybe 3-4 times a day to walk 5 feet to the living room, all the while connected to an oxygen machine and a machine that keeps her stomach cleaned out from any fluids. Good times, don't you think?

The bad news for today, I went to sleep with a horrible headache and a very bad attitude, and I have awakened today with a smaller headache but a much worse attitude. For once in a long time, it has nothing to do with work. In fact, I am really happy I am at work today and it is giving me something to focus on.

Dear Diary Thursday...

Let's just start by saying that being in a 23 story building while there is an earthquake going on is not any fun.....I don't care WHO you talk to! I thought I was dizzy for about 2 seconds until I realized that the plant behind me was rocking wildly back and forth and was about to topple over, so I had to get up and grab it. Not a good time, really. And I have NEVER gotten motion sick but I am now sipping black tea because my stomach is about to come up.

Other than that excitement, life is good. I took my Mom to her follow up appointment yesterday and it looks like everything is good. We have one more doctor appointment and then we are finished....WOOOHOOOOO!!!!

Dear Diary Tuesday...

What a day yesterday!

I came into work to a bunch of be expected since I was gone for two business days. It took most of my day to get caught up on those e-mails and keep caught up on the e-mails that were coming in. On top of that, being it was a holiday for most people, I could not get my insurance taken care for the new car!!!!

And poor Dylan...he had the shittiest day ever. He went to Costco, shopped around for two hours, got up to the check stand to check out and realized that we STILL DO NOT HAVE A FUCKING DEBIT CARD, so he coulnd't buy anything! And then he went to the gym last night at 7:00 to take a class, only to find out it was cancelled. Needless to say, he was not in a great mood.

Speaking of the gym...I went and did FANTASTIC and ( and I know that this is a sign of mental illness) loved every single minute of it. They have a bunch of new machines and my current, most favorite, is a machine where you sit down and add weight and pull no a rope...and OH MY HELL does it work your upper body!! LOVE IT!!!!

And I just say the weather anyone getting as tired of snow as I am?????!

Dear Diary Monday...

What an amazing four days off!!! Let's get re-acquainted.....

I was suppose to have a half day off on Wednesday....didn't happen. I had a bunch of problems come up while I was trying to get out of here so I ended up staying almost until 2:00. At the same time, Dylan was at his work for a "meeting" with his big boss and some people from Minneapolis. Well, the meeting actually ended up with Dylan being presented with the Concord Elite Prize from Wells Fargo which was four nights in MAUI for him and I....all expenses paid except for spending money! We are then extending it for another 3 nights, and the company is allowing us to do that through their corporate we are going to MAUI!!! I can't wait! This will be my first time on an airplane and I am actually really, really excited for that.

We also had a fantastic V-day by going to Rodizio for dinner and relaxing. In fact, our entire weekend of four days was really, really fun, very relaxing....just an awesome time to be together.

Oh, and on Friday night, we bought a brand new 2008 Saturn Vue....and it is BEAUTIFUL! We have named him V.P. (short for Vincent Price) and he is dark gray with silver speckles in it....very gorgeous car. And the price was awesome, so I had nothing to complain over.
