Dear Diary Thursday.....

Last night was nice. I had to run to my Daddy's tax consultant and pick up some paperwork and then I stopped by my folks house to drop it off, then went home and did nothing. Dylan made dinner and we had dinner while watching a scary movie...in bed! It was nice just to relax and cuddle for a couple of hours before we went to sleep.....what a great night. It has been such a long time since we have been able to watch a movie while cuddling in bed and I think we both forgot how much we enjoyed that kind of company.

I am not sure exactly what the Fates have in store for Dylan and I this weekend, but I know it will involve a lot of work. We have dumpsters in the neighborhood this week so we are going to be spending some time helping my Dad remove some unwanted dirt from the side of the house for that and cleaning out our garage....probably doing quite a bit of yardwork as well. Oh well, it will save us from going out and spending money that we don't need to do, especially since I am taking next Friday off to celebrate Dylan's birthday!

Dear Diary Tuesday...

Let me give a bit of advice...never, NEVER allow your lawn to go longer than one week without mowing it. Unless you are totally into dumping the catch bag over 15 times, the mower freezing up because the grass is so long, and having to clean the blades out because they are catching so much grass that they can't turn! Yep, that was my afternoon after work yesterday. Oh, and that topped off going on a "walk" at lunch that ended up being about a 5 mile trek IN THE WRONG SHOES and I ended up with the bottom of my big toe being "burned" from bad friction....yeah, it was fun!! Actually, not being sarcastic, the walk was fun with the people I went with and we got to see alot of things in the city that you normally don't get to see unless you are walking. Oh, and interesting people!!

Tonight, I am not sure what I am doing. I might be taking my Mom to the store, I might be planting some flowers, I might just be relaxing....not really sure what I am doing....but I am looking forward to some relaxing and I can relax doing any of those things.

And on a funny note....I have somebody at my work who is trying to give ME (and you will see why this is funny!) the cold shoulder! Oh, I am amused and enjoying it. If you know me, you know that nobody can be colder or more evil than I. I have taken "ignoring" somebody to an art form. And do you know what amuses me the most about this? It is bugging them that I don't care!!!!!!! HA HA HA!!!

Dear Diary Tuesday...

I love, love, LOVE Usana Poly C! I have been taking it religiously for the last four days, and have doubled up on it since I started feeling sick and I feel REALLY good this morning. I can still feel the cold lingering, but nothing like it was yesterday! Dr. Malin is a life saver for turning me on to these!!!

I got home last night and just felt physically wiped out from being sick. I had dinner with Dylan, took a really hot bath (hoping to burn the cold bugs off of me) and then crawled into bed to watch a bit tv and relax....and was sound asleep within an hour. Dylan is working OT again this week, so he only hung around until 7:15 last night and then headed in early to work, so we didn't have a lot of time to hang out. But, we will be making up for it this weekend with working in the yard together....WEE!

Dear Diary Monday...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHET!!!!

The Arthritis Foundation Walk in honor of Tonster on Saturday was HELLA FUN! It was cold, BRUTALLY cold, but it was a good time with everyone. Thanks again for organizing that Toni....and you know now that I love you enough to even WALK IN THE COLD, THE WIND, and THE RAIN...especially if there is a possibility my hair can get messed up!

After that, Dylan and I got our Mother's Day shopping completed and went to the Super Pet Adoption, which was actually really sucky because it was really, really rainy and I was starting to get a cold. We then headed over to the Netzlers for the yummiest of all barbecues and just having a really good time relaxing.

Sunday I took my folks shopping, and yes, I had a full blown cold. I came home, took a hot bath, and relaxed the rest of the day....waiting for death because with this cold I have a horrible, yucky cough that gives me a headache. I finally gave in and took some Nyquil and went to bed.

Today, I still feel crappy but I am fighting it off the best I can. I have doubled my Vitamin C intake, I am staying bundled up, and I have my cough drops. By god, I am gonna win this damn thing!
