Dear Diary Friday...

YAY! ITS FRIDAY! YAY!!

It is officially Autumn in my world because Starbucks has brought back the Pumpkin Spice Frappucino so I can continue living. Yep, I know....I am not a coffee snob thanks to the Caroline that works with me. She was a previous barrista for 14 years at the Grand America so she KNOWS coffee. If it is good coffee, and she makes it for me, I will drink it. And if you know me, and you know my dislike for coffee, that says a lot about her talents!

Also, it is officially Autumn for me because I am now a BRUNETTEE. Yep, I got my hair done last night and it is REALLY dark, almost black. I love, love, LOVE IT. I went a bit shorter than I normally do but it is because it will be the perfect length for when I go to Vegas. I am just so excited about the change and I have been receiving a lot of compliments on it.....even from my gay colleagues at work.

Dylan is gonna have kind of a busy day today. I scheduled a vet appointment for Coal and then Dylan has a hair appointment, then he needs to get us some movies. Poor kid...his day off and I schedule everything in the world for him to do!

Dear Diary Thursday....

I woke up with a fuzzy brain again today.....took a decongestant/headache pill and it went away! I hate stuffy heads!

Dylan just found out that he doesn't have to work Sunday night for the holiday so we get to spend Monday together.....WOO HOO! I am really looking forward to a weekend together and getting a few things done. PLUS there are a couple of movies that I would really, really like to see/rent.

Dear Diary Wednesday...

I haven't felt good for about three weeks total and I finally found out what it is....I have officially had panic attacks. Yep, good old fashioned panic attacks that cause a tightening in the chest, dizziness, some fainting, and just all around feeling like shit. When one part of my "anxiety" was taken care of yesterday, it miraculously cleared up! I haven't had a panic attack since I had gallbladder attacks, so I didn't remember what they were like....I sure as hell won't forget them next time! I honestly thought I was having heart attacks until a nurse told me...."Honey, you can't have heart attacks for three weeks....you would be dead and blue by now!" The one thing I did learn.....holy shit! the panic attacks make you REALLY REALLY TIRED!

Dylan's parent's made it home from Wendover last night....they needed a get away after having so much stress the last week. It was nice to hear them and they sounded well rested.

Dylan might be coming down with a cold. We are trying everything we can to fight it (Vitamin C, Zicam, eating healthy, blah blah blah) and hopefully we can beat this before we head off to Vegas. He is a real champ and will still want to go, but nobody likes to travel when they are sick.

The weekend looks to be a calm one for us. I think we are going to be doing a whole bunch of laundry, maybe going to the Farmer's Market, but generally just a bunch of relaxing. We are probably gonna see if we can hook up with some people for dinner, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.

Dear Diary Monday,

Sometimes, I just need to believe people when they say, "You are not gonna like him".

Wednesday, I left work and Dylan and I did some running around and then took his folks to dinner since they have already had a horrible week and we hadn't even had a funeral yet.

Thursday, Dylan and I spent the whole day scrubbing the house done and getting the yard all pretty and then headed off to the viewing. Well, Dylan's deceased gay grandfather's boyfriend came in town for the funeral and so after the viewing, he took us all to dinner. Unfortunately, we didn't get to dinner until almost 10:00 pm so it was a long, long day and night for us.

Friday was the viewing and then we had a bbq at his folks house with everyone. It was a fun night, we got his family drunk, and didn't get home until around midnight...again another long night.

Saturday we went to breakfast and then had some running around to do and then I started getting sick. I could not stop sneezing, my stomach was starting to turn, and I was aching....we headed home. I had a long, long nap and then I felt just a tich better.

Sunday, my folks decided it was time for me to spend some time with THEM, so we headed to the IKEA...for a four hour marathon tour. It was fun, my parent's had a great time and it gave them the chance to get out of the house for a long time.

All in all, I am glad that the weekend is over with!
