Dear Diary Wednesday....
Mood...a bit on the tired side....
Coming home from work yesterday, I had an allergic reaction in my eye and by the time I got home, it had spread. I thought I had got it under control but when I went to bed, it flared back up again! I was up part of the night trying to get all of the itchiness under control, so I am a bit tired this morning because I ended up having to take a mega dose of antihistamine to get it to stop. Not a fun night. Other than that, it was a very uneventful evening. The best of it, though, is when Dylan crawled into bed with me last night so we could just talk for awhile before he had to go to work...I love that part about being in the same house with someone!!
The weekend is going to be spectacular! I have Friday off and so Dylan and I are going to go shopping and playing and just having a great day together. Saturday is the awesome Netzler Barbecue, which I am completely looking forward to. Sunday I will probably take Mom shopping and do some cleaning. Monday...who knows! I might not even get out of my pajamas the whole day.....that would be sooooo much fun!!!!!
Oh, the bad voices....

Dear Diary Tuesday...
Mood....ehhhh.....
After work yesterday, I went home and took mom to our first day back to the gym, and it was good. She did 8 laps around the track and then we headed to Wal-Mart for a little shopping. By the time I got her home she was completely exhausted. The one thing I have learned for this whole experience is how truly evil anesthesia is. She is having a bit of a problem with her memory when she gets exhausted and it is due to the anesthesia. I will be so happy when all of that is out of her system and I know it can take up to 6 months.
Work was totally shit yesterday. I was informed in a "nice" way that I will probably be losing my position as a Team Lead (which I am okay with) and that our Operations Manager has NO clue what I do, and that I am basically a really lousy employee. And couple that with the fact that I also was told that I take on TOO much responsibility and due TOO much...but I am a lousy employee. So, needless to say, I have a VERY bad attitude today and will only be doing the very bare minimum of my job. The only good news is that I got a bunch of compliments from my co-workers and how much THEY appreciate me because I am always willing to help them out and listen and answer their questions. Good to know that the pee-ons like me appreciate me as much as I appreciate them. So, my intent is after the wedding and honeymoon are over, I am looking for a new job and not in the same industry. I might even consider going into sales, since for some strange reason I seem to be good at it.

Dear Diary Monday...
Mood...great and feeling very productive.
Today I am starting back to the gym with my Mom. I feel she is able to start going and doing a little bit because she feels better when she pushes herself everyday. After she is all tuckered out, I will finish my work out while she sits and relaxes. After the gym tonight, I need to go to Lowes to get something to fix Dylan's den window....the sprinklers are leaking into his room and making his carpet all wet. The joys of owning a house! I thought I had fixed it yesterday, but it was dripping water again this morning.
The weekend was a good one. Dylan and I took Betty, Melvin, and Lizzie to the vet on Thursday for their check ups and found out that little baby Betty has an eye infection so I have been chasing her around the house all weekend putting medicine in it! Friday we saw "Land of the Dead" and enjoyed it....then I went to bed at 8:00 pm and didn't wake up until Saturday morning at 6:00! I spent Saturday doing a bunch of running around for my mom and then Dylan and I went to dinner and relaxed that evening. Yesterday I spent doing a little bit of house work, working on my computer for awhile, and then we took Dylan's folks to dinner for a belated Father's Day. All in all, a hum drum weekend and didn't accomplish a helluva lot.
This weekend I am planning on not only doing all of the housework, but also getting a lot of yardwork done, going to Toni's BBQ AND looking at wedding dresses. Yay!!!
