Dear Diary Thursday....
Last night was not a good night. I got home from taking my folks shopping, ate a little dinner, took a hot bath, and climbed into bed to read for awhile. I fell asleep, remembered Dylan comimg in and kissing me good night and then fell back asleep. Next thing I knew, I started the "tossing and turning" saga at about 11:00 and kept that up ALL night long. Dylan came home early, at about 2:00 and when I finally got out of bed, I had the worse migraine...which I still have. I have drank a couple of colas and to try and get some caffeine in my system, hoping it will help...not yet. Have taken sinus pills hoping it will help....not yet. I think my head is just going to explode and we will call it good.
On top of that, yesterday at work was irritating. We have reports that we need to do once a month to send out to our customers. It is a tedious task, usually takes the average person one or two days to get them all printed, put into envelopes and mailed. There are a few co-workers that can not seem to manage this monthly task on top of everything else they do. One is so pathetic that I actually did her reports for her. Now, she was still busy the whole time I was doing the reports.....so I was not angry. However, I have another co-worker that gave all of her reports to somebody else to do while she spent all day doing on-line shopping. And then she had a huge issue come up on a group and I helped her work through it....I stayed late, worked with the sales team on it....she left at her normal time and spent the time I was working on her client online shopping. And then she had the nerve to bitch that the sales team will think she handed this off to me, go to her boss and have her chewed out...so I nicely told her that she shouldn't worry, the sales team had actually been complimenting her lately on how well she is doing...and she flew off the handle at me! So, I let her rant and then informed her that she needs to stop worrying about it because I would not be interfering with helping her with any clients of hers in the future. Good Gawd! I know that I am PMSing, but I am not sure what her problem is! Oh well, I only have two more days left for this week and I can have a relaxing weekend....I hope.
Oh, the bad voices....

Dear Diary Wednesday...
Let the PMS begin! Yep, woke up with it this morning and so I am not in a good mood. However, I think there is more of a reason than that....let me share a bit of it...
A week ago, a friend of mine at work was asked a question by a manager/co-worker about the person's opinion on a co-worker/manager. This friend was honest, which was the first mistake. She/He was then taken into an office with the manager and the manager's superior and given a written warning, told how unprofessional/insubordinate they are, etc etc etc and then give the EAP phone number (for some additional reasons). This friend stayed in this office after the "meeting" and cried for three hours (problem #1) and then mutilated himself/herself before leaving. This friend will not let this whole issue go and move past it and decided to confront the original manager on why the manager "betrayed" the trust of their "friendship" even though I explained to this friend that just because he/she thinks that they are "friends" does not mean the other person feels the same way (problem #2). Needless to say, the friend did confront the manager yesterday and then was taken into ANOTHER meeting...and this is the last warning. Here is my biggest issue....we are ALL FUCKING ADULTS! We are are not in high school, we are not in drama class, why does somebody feel the need to create this kind of drama not only in their life but in their work situation? And why do you ask my opinion when you are obviously going to do whatever the fuck you want? I dunno....but it is off my chest now.
Good news is that the kitty that my Dad had "lost" again (Speck) for the second time showed up in the garage yesterday....skinny but very healthy and not nearly as skittish as before AND my Daddy nailed the cat door shut this time and locked him in the garage! My Daddy was so elated that he was close to floating when he told me about Speck coming home....it was damn adorable I must say. I think the previous "disappearance" was due to somebody capturing him and his brother and not letting them go. I think that they escaped and Boots was unfortunately hit by a car, Speck made it home. I think then Speck "smelled" that Boots had been buried and freaked out and took off again, probably being captured by somebody AGAIN but he was released and back home. This time he let me play with him and hold him and love him so I could make sure there was not any problems. Like I said, skinny but in pretty good shape. I think my Daddy's plan now is to get him so fat he can't ever get out of the cat door again!
Okay, deep breath...heading back to work.....

Dear Diary Monday...
I could not have asked for a more perfect three day weekend. Let's catch up!
Thursday, I left work at 11 am and went and got my nails done. I left in a pretty irritable mood so I did not have them polish them, nor did I stay and get a pedicure like I planned on. I stopped and got my Mom and took her to do some grocery shopping and then headed home and took a much needed 30 minute nap....which helped my attitude. Dylan and I then went to dinner at Market Street Oyster Bar and then went to the liquor store and headed home.
Friday was our "work day" so we got up and did yardwork and cleaned the entire house. After that we relaxed for a little bit and then I bbq'd some steaks and veggies for us and we ate outside and enjoyed the weather with the slight breeze we had....it was wonderful! We then crashed for the remainder of the night.
Saturday we got up and went to the Farmer's Market, which was a bunch of fun! We also did some running around and then headed over to Toni and Rob's for a WONDERFUL BBQ event and it was great to see everyone and hang out and just really relax and share some fantastic energy....even though Toni's "adult beverage" kicked my ass because it was so good I could not stop drinking it!
Sunday was our "relax" day and we watched three movies.....all that I would recommend...."Fido", "Jumpers" (a bit boring), and "Day of the Dead"...I think the third remake. We also got Wing Coop because we were going to watch the UFC pay per view BUT it did not record. Oh well, we still had a fantastic time.
Now back to reality.....
