Dear Diary Friday....
Oh, this week has been so chaotic, so stressful, so BUSY! I have been staying late almost every night just to keep up on work and yesterday was a HELL DAY and nothing went right. I actually went home and considered sitting down with some hard liquor....but I didn't. I dd some things around the house, meditated, took a bubble bath, read....and I was fine. It was nice to just finally let things go, take a deep breath and realize....I AM HOME!
Tonight, not sure what Dylan and I are going to do because it is really the only night we have together, so we are thinking dinner, picking up movies and chillin'.....but who knows if that will really occur.
Wishing everyone a spectacular weekend!

Dear Diary Tuesday....
I feel like I ate a rock wrapped in styrofoam and then packed with those fluffy packing peanuts. Why? Because I am starting a new cleanse this morning that goes for two weeks and the first day you take 4 of their fiber pills in the morning and then 4 more at night, with two other pills. Well, I already took my normal pills and then my vitamins and THEN the start of the cleanse....too much all in one morning. However, I am going to stick with this for the two weeks because it did absolute wonders for Dylan's Mom and Dad and I have heard really good things about cleansing your body (GENTLY) to remove any toxins from your system. AND, if I don't like it, I don't ever have to try it again!
Yesterday I tried a new strategy at work and I think it was positive. I stayed up on every project that came my way AND I also stayed 30 minutes after work to clean up anything that was open....I came in this morning to fewer e-mails, fewer voicemails, and less stress. So, I am going to attempt to keep that up throughout our busy season and maybe I can avoid having to put in long nights and worrying about during the weekend.

Dear Diary Monday....
Yesterday ended up being AWESOME! We went and got our Costco shopping done, our Wal-Mart shopping done, FYE, and to Jason's Deli for lunch. After all of that, we hunkered down for the night and relaxed and watched some TiVo. It was just WONDERFUL! I could not have asked for a better weekend.
We ended up getting a great t.v. (Vizio) and a carpet cleaner at the Costco, which I was really, really excited about. Dylan will probably spend the day putting the t.v. up in the front room and doing al that fun stuff, while I am at work, laboring away. He is so good with electronic stuff that I am glad he is at home doing it. I probably would cause it to start smoking and catch on fire if I put it together.
I have no doubt that this will be another busy week at work, but I really don't care because I know that I can handle it AND will try to enjoy it. Oh sure, I am sure there will be some times that I will be close to pulling my hair out, but you have to take the good with the bad so that you can appreciate the GOOD a lot more than you normally would.
Everybody....have a GREAT week!

Dear Diary Sunday...
Ah, it is a lazy day so far. Dylan and I got up, had breakfast, and just relaxed on the couches. We are going to get up and moving and get some shopping done, but we really are taking our own sweet time to get there....and really, who cares! Isn't that what Sunday' are about when you don't have to work?
Yesterday we spent over an hour stuck in a traffic jam on the freeway thanks to construction. Somebody, in their attempt to be a witless idiot, decided that Saturday would be a good day to close down the freeways to one lane.....both directions. So, we got off on State street, took off to 33rd South....and hit construction AGAIN! Now, normally, it wouldn't be a big deal but we were trying to make an appointment, which we ended up being almost 45 minutes late too. How frustrating!! After that, we had a very nice dinner, did some shopping at the Gateway, and then came home and went to bed very, very early. Dylan had only managed to get about 3 hours of sleep, so he really needed some downtime.
Today, like I said, we are going to do some shopping, but we are going to take our time and enjoy it and if we don't make it to all the places we want to go, oh well! It will just be nice to enjoy each other's company.
