Dear Diary Saturday....

Oh what a busy weekend and it is not even over!

Thursday night, Dylan and I met up with the Netzlers and Jeffy for dinner at Wings and Things and then we all went to Bonwood Bowl to have out asses kicked by Dylan. Highlights of the evening were Toni and her "shake", Rob throwing the bowling bowl down the lanes, and Jeff's superb bowling ball of Spiderman!! It was a wonderful evening and thank you to everyone.

Friday I took Spooky in to get fixed and then headed over to my folks to carve 21 pumpkins and make two dozen carmaled apples. Dylan did our shopping and some miscellaneous running around. In the late afternoon we headed over to get Spooky, who did just fine, and then did a bit more shopping and then over to Sissy's for take home dinner. I don't think Dylan and I will be going back to Sissy's.....it just made us feel yucky. We were totally exhausted and fell into bed to sleep at 8:30....yes, Dylan has been morphed and is now doing my sleeping pattern!

Today I got up and cleaned the house, delivered pumpkins, cleaned some more, and have managed to get my finger nails painted and do all of the laundry. Dylan is working a bit of overtime. We are then going to get our costumes on, hand out some tricks and treats, and then head over to the Poors for a wonderful evening of great friends and great fun.

Speaking of friends, I could not be more grateful for those that are in my life and that I can continuously turn to for unconditional love and support. Thank you to all of my friends for just being the fantastic people that you are and just know how much you all mean to me.

Oh, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN....tomorrow.....

Dear Diary Thursday...

This is thankfully the last day of my work week...and I could not be more happy. I am now to the point with my job that I come in, sit at my desk, do my job, keep a smile on my face, and then go home. Thankfully Toni has my sounding board this week and has probably saved quite a few lives that I wanted to take.

I am really looking forward to the Halloween party at the Poor's house....I think I just need to be able to relax and be around some good energy of my good friends. Speaking of the Poors, Jer and Michelle stopped by on Tuesday night and brought over the most beautiful home made gifts! Michelle made us a scarecrow, a Halloween wreath and....a Halloween Tree!!! They are so wonderful and she is amazingly talented at this kind of stuff!

Tonight we are meeting up with Jeff to hang out for a while and relax. Tomorrow I am taking Spooky to the vet to have his manhood removed and then I will be carving pumpkins and making carmaled apples. Saturday I will probably spend cleaning and then going to the party. Sunday, MY DAY, I will do things for me... "witchy" things. And I have Monday off.....I am not sure about that day and am not making plans for it right now.....I will see what happens.

And as for this blog, I am really not having the desire to use it anymore so I am just going to play it by ear but I think it is time for it to disappear. The desire to put my thoughts and feelings into this web space has dwindled a great deal. As much as I love reading other's blog, it has become too much of a chore to keep my own up. Hopefully my heart will change on this issue, but we will have to see.

Dear Diary Sunday...

It was a damn near perfect weekend!

We started off with meeting up with the Poors on Friday afternoon to see "The Grudge" and what a fantastic movie! It kept you scared and on the edge of your seat the entire time.....hardly any blood, lots of creepy noise, the acting of the "monsters" was intense....I loved every minute of it and would see it another 10 times....and I am not kidding. The only time we had any relief is when one of the actors was looking at the ceiling and Jeremy quietly yelled out "Oh Godzilla" in his best Japanese impression and the four of us could not stop our laughing for at least 30 minutes.

After that, we parted ways and Dylan and I went to Pier 1 and then to Petsmart and then home. We decided to go have dinner at Red Robin and then made our way over to Gardner Village, just as everything was closing up. By then we were tired and freezing so went home to get to bed early.

Saturday we got up and went on a pumpkin quest for the best pumpkins and managed to get a few more. We then did just a whole bunch of running around and ended up having dinner at the Braza Grill. It was a nice change but I don't think I would eat there again. We then headed home for some more relaxation.

Today I am spending the day with the folks getting some shopping done and then putting the central air and sprinkler system to bed for the winter. I can't believe how quickly we have already started moving into winter.....I am not handling the cold very well with the amount of weight I have lost. I did not realize how nice having fat on your bones kept the rest of you warm!!!

And I am already looking forward to my week....just 7 days until Halloween!!! I hope you have all got your lists ready for the Great Pumpkin....he knows who has been naughty or nice!
