Dear Diary Wednesday...

Because I set my mind to it, yesterday was a much, much better day. It was also my day to be more brutally honest with myself, and others, and I know a few of my co-workers did not like it. But here is the thing, don't ask me a question unless you are truly wanting to hear the answer.

Weight Watchers also went very well for Dylan and I last night....both down almost the exact same amount. This is now two weeks in a row that I have been down 2+ pounds, so I am pretty happy. The only downside is that right around Wednesday of each week, I start getting tired of all the protein. So today I am eating some blackberries to give me the "sweet" that I am craving...hopefully this will help.

I am looking forward to the weekend....and hopefully the weather really will be warm on Saturday and Sunday as I plan on doing a bit of yardwork, involving some more pruning. Oh, and of course, there is the "get together" on Saturday that I am immensly looking forward too.

Dear Diary Tuesday...

Just as my horoscope predicted, I was a big ol' bitch yesterday and hated every single moment of work. Without going into a lot of details, let's just say I had a meltdown about working being returned to me that should not have been. And to add fuel to the fire, my boss had a major meltdown about the same issue and was aparently upset that I did not find his tirade to be impressive. Thank gawd he is out of town the rest of the week!!

After work, my Mom and I did some grocery shopping and then I headed home and made dinner for Dylan and I....black angus burgers with cheese and hot spinach salad...YUMMY! I then took a quick hot bath because my knee is back to being all fucked up and went to read for a few hours. It was nice, it was relaxing, it was everything I needed after a shitty day at work.

Oh, and I forgot, to top off the shitty day at work, I had a co-worker pissed at me about not responding to a cell phone call. TOUGH FUCKING SHIT! After being on the phones all day long, all week long, the last thing I really want to do is come home and answer MORE PHONE calls and talk MORE ON THE PHONE. Now, this person is adorable and sweet, but my weekend is for ME and to hang out and talk to people I don't get to see as often. And if I had plans with that person, then I would have definitly answered the phone....but I had my cell phone off all weekend because I AM TIRED OF IT! Plus, there is nothing more irritating than being that "go to" person for some people when they can't hang out/talk to their other friends. Sorry, I am not a convenience item....

Regardless, today is going to be a much better day....I can just feel it!

Oh, and much, much, much love out to my Chet and Shane this morning...just because I know you can use it.

Dear Diary Monday...

Well, the sickness did not leave Dylan...it actually got a bit worse on Saturday morning. Dylan came to get me at Saturn (getting driver's chair and stereo fixed) and I could tell he was not feeling well at all...the congestion had moved to his chest. So, when we got home I went over and got my Amoxycillin from my folks and started him on that. He slept for a few hours and when he got up, he seemed to feel a bit better. We the went and got my car and headed over to Rodizio for dinner. After filling ourselves with meat (YUMMY AGAIN!), we went and walked around Trolley Square....buying me a couple of new "witch" items and visited with the Grayhound Rescue group. Oh, and if you are interested Sharper Image is closing and everything is marked down.

Sunday, we got up and headed up to the zoo. Dylan was feeling better and I think the start of the amoxycillin was the boost his immune system needed. We then had lunch, got our Costco shopping completed, and then went home to watch "DeathProof", which is a horrible, horrible movie. However, it was really fun just to watch a movie together in bed.

So, all in all, it looks like Dylan might be on his way to overcoming this illness. If so, it will be the shortest illness for him EVER!
