I am sooooo sick in the head......

I am redecorating my den! It has been since I was around the age of 12 since my den was painted...the putrid shade of gray, which over the years has gotten darker and darker, and not due to dirt. SOOOO, I am going to the opposite extreme....White Peony. I am actually going to spend my Friday night and Satuday painting, unless of course, my daddy finishes it before I get home! Then I am throwing out all of the garbage and yucky furniture that I don't like and getting new furniture. I am attempting to turn it into a den/entertainment room and I am going for warmer colors......rose, dark green, brown. I want it more masculine and more warm than it is currently. I am also planning on getting a huge rug for the floor, some big pillows for the floor and a nice couch with an entertainment center.....can't wait! I am probably going to be blowing off my company summer party for this personal shin-dig. Okay, you knew it was coming, so here is the bitching.....people are actually getting PISSED off because I am finally taking some time to do something FOR ME! God forbid! Yes, I know, it is my own damn fault. I always spend so much time trying to help out everybody else, make everybody else happy, do what I can for everybody else, that nobody is use to me actually trying to do something for me, so I should have expected it but DAMN!!!!! The backlash for me taking the time to do this for myself has been horrible! I actually wonder where I got some of these friends/family!!!! Oh well.....

Have you ever been around a person that is sooooooo pretentious that you actually can't help but continually roll your eyes? To the point that your eyes actually start to hurt, feeling as if they might bug out of your head just to escape?? Yes, it has happened to me and the person who is causing this great amount of pain to me might actually receive a great amount of pain back. All I can say is that people need to realize how ridiculous they sound and that this life is meant for SOME fun!!!

Any-hooo.....got some good news back on the murder trial of my friend, Marc Atkinson, who was gunned down in the line of duty. The "shooter" has plead guilty, with the understanding that the court will not be giving him any leniency and is still going for the death penalty. I think the reason he decided to plead guilty is because he realizes how truly screwed he is. The trial date is still set for the 30th for the drive and the passenger, but now that two of the four defendants have plead out, hopefully the trial will run that much quicker. I am hoping that the trial is quick, the families have been through enough already.

B-day....

Yep, it was my 31st b-day this last weekend and I had a very nice time. My honey-bunny and his folks threw me a bbq and invited all the family and friends. I was astounded, but everybody showed up AND had a great time! Then I got to watch the WWF Pay per view with my honey-bunny. So the weekend was pretty damn fun!! Gotta say, I have the best group of friends and the best fiancee and inlaws a girl could ever wish for
