Dear Diary Wednesday,

Happy Day Before Thanksgiving!!!

We got all of the shopping done for T-day and tonight we are having our first Thanksgiving dinner at Dylan's folks house with the family. I know this is going to be fun...his parent's always host a great timeat their house.

Tomorrow I will get up and head over to my folks house to get the turkey, stuffing, and potatoes going and I will do the rolls over at my house....I'm planning on making the parmessean rolls again that I made last year and that everyone went crazy over.

Friday....ah Friday! I am going to brave the crowds with my parents and do some Christmas shopping with them. I am sure when we get home they will be exhausted, and so will I, but it is always fun to do.

Oh, and Coal had his first post-op surgery check up yesterday and he was PERFECT. The doctor said he could not have wished for better and Coal is now approved to get groomed and do stairs all by himself, but still no "rough housing" for another two weeks. Unfortunately, the little boy has all this energy and he doesn't know what to do with it and wants to ALWAYS rough house with Helga! Ah, the joys of being a parent.....

Dear Diary Monday...

It was a FANTASTIC weekend!

It started off with me getting home on Friday and I was exhausted. I had not slept the night before, due to the medication, but I really wanted to go to the party. We headed over to Chet and Shane's for the celebration of Rob becoming a U.S. Citizens and had a great time! No two people could host a party better than Shane and Toni. We left at about 10:00 pm as I was totally exhausted and we had to get home to take care of Coal.

We got up Saturday morning and headed out for a day of X-mas shopping. It was WONDERFUL! We also got an exciting call that Dylan's new shift would be going into effect on Sunday so Saturday was the last Saturday night he had to work. We must have hit every store in the Valley that day. We then came home and tried to watch our UFC pay-per-view, but Dylan was so exhausted that we thought we would grab some sleep before he headed in to work. It was a great idea because I have been fighting off a cold and the more rest I get, the better.

Sunday I got up and mowed the lawn, got the bird feeders all filled, did a bit more yardwork and then Dylan and I headed out to get some grocery shopping done. We hit Costco, Harmon's and Wal-Mart and got everything we needed for the next couple of weeks. We then headed home with dinner and watched the pay-per-view and then headed to bed....Dylan was running on only 4 hours of sleep.

Today I am planning on taking my Mom shopping after work and doing a few more things around the house. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving this year and we need to get all of the stuff for it!

All I can say is THANK THE GODDESS for great friends who kick my ass, great doctors who are willing to listen and help, unbelievably supportive husbands and MEDICATION. It is so nice to feel normal again!

Happy Monday to everyone!!
