Dear Diary Saturday...
Oh my hell, Wendover was more fun than should be legal!!! Thank you Dylan, Shane, Chet, Tonster, and Rob for making what was a HORRIBLE week end on a perfect note of love, happiness, and safety! I could not have asked to spend the time with more wonderful people!!! And Toni, from now on, you need to keep your yap shut about how strong I make MY drinks!!!! HOLY SHEEP SHIT!!!!
So, we left Thursday morning to head to Wendover, and unfortunately, I had not consumed anything that would put my blood sugar level, so we had to stop in Tooele for a quick drink at the McDonalds since I was having a small seizure! Then we headed out and the fun did not stop!! Resting, eating, gambling, drinking, playing board games, and just sitting around talking in our pajamas was wonderful!!!! I can not even begin to express how much I am looking forward to our next trip. After we got home, Dylan and I went to the Utah County Fair at Thanksgiving Point, which was VERY small and only took us about 1 hour to look around. We then left and met up with Toni and Rob at the Polynesian Festival where Rob officially crowned me as Polynesian, as I enjoyed eating with my fingers! I think I am the "whitest" Polynesian in the world, but very proud! The food was incredible and we tried a drink call "Otai" which was HEAVEN. We watched some entertainment and then Dylan and I headed out and he took me home, as we were both exhausted.
I got to see the plans for Chet and Shane's new "love nest" and all that I can say is "WOW". It is simply an amazing floor plan and I can not wait until we can actually be helping them move, paint, stain, and all the good stuff. With their huge step, I am starting to look forward more and more to Dylan and I getting a house. Oh, and to say that Shane is "excited" about Dylan and I getting a house next would be an understatement!!! I am so proud of my boys!
Today was relaxing. I have not done a damn thing other than clean the downstairs bathroom. My big endeavor was making a very "thrown together" dinner of fettucini, cucumber salad, mushrooms, and scallops. Pretty underwhelming, but filling.
Tomorrow I plan on taking the parents out to dinner and then getting some grocery shopping done....again, pretty boring, but I like it that way!!
Starting on Monday, I am kicking off a new "self improvement" program for me and I am very excited about it. I am not going into any details, but every night will involve me going to the gym, and I am going to be enrolling in their fitness classes, along with my normal work outs. Looking forward to getting some of my energy back, especially since it is getting to be the time of year that I need all of the energy I can fine...you know, Halloween!!!!
Oh, the bad voices....

Dear Diary Tuesday...
CONGRATULATIONS TO MY CHET AND SHANE!!!!! I could not be more proud of you two!
Okay, let me tell you how today was by starting off with how my morning ALWAYS goes. I get up, make coffee, feed the cats, open the back door so they can run in and out, make my breakfast, eat, go downstairs and shower, come up and go outside to water, do my hair and make up, get dressed, go to work, leave the back door open so cats/dogs can run in and out without awakening the folks. That was this morning with a small glitch.
I went outside to water, wearing my robe, and the neighbor dogs were going CRAZY. Didn't think anything of it. Continued my morning, grabbed my purse, had a weird feeling to close and lock the backdoor, which I did. Went out the front door, got almost down the walk and noticed that there was a MAN SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SIDE OF MY FATHER'S TRUCK! Yeah, that was scary. What was more scary was when he got out and I asked, "Can I help you?!" and he took a few aggressive steps towards me, with a knife in his hand, to threateningly say "I NEED A RIDE!" To which I calmly turned around, said "Sorry, can't help you with that" and walked into my house, closed the door, and locked it and called the police. Needless to say, 20 minutes later and talking to the most useless officer who had the guy WALK IN FRONT OF HIS VEHICLE BUT DID NOT HAVE THE BRAINS TO TURN ON HIS SIRENS, the guy got away. Now keep in mind....1) he was sitting in the passenger side of the vehicle, NOT THE DRIVERS, 2) he had a weapon, 3) he was not at all afraid of me, did not even run away when I went into the house, 4) stayed IN the neighborhood until the officer showed up, 5) probably was in my backyard and that is why the dogs were going crazy. So, now I am completely petrified to leave my house. God, I hope this feeling goes away!
Oh, and this is more reason I am happy about going to Wendover!

Dear Diary Sunday....
This week has been an emotionally trying one. A co-worker of mine, who has been having marital problems for over a year, marriage of 14 years, finally had her last "straw" this week. Her husband decided to go fishing and then did not show up, nor did he bother to pick up their child, for over 24 hours. We speculated on where he could be, if he was alive or dead, were there others involved, etc. In the end, he is home and just fine and the marriage is over. They will be ending their marriage as best friends, the same way they went into the marriage, and I could not ask for more. I was supportive and loving, even though many emotions were involved with me since I don't view her as a friend any more. However, I know that in these times, we need to pull together and support those in our lives who need it, and that is what I chose to do.
I took Friday off of work and Dylan and I went to get his car fixed and to see "The Pirates of the Carribean", which I have now dubbed as "The longest and most boring movie in history." No lie. Dylan and I were both trying to stay awake in the movie, and I found very little to be impressed with. After the movie, we picked up his car and did some running around, spent a few of my gift certificates, exchanged one of my movies, had a wonderful dinner at the Lonestar, and headed back to his house. All in all, it was a wonderful day.
Saturday I spent the day with my mom and we SHOPPED. We did the Farmer's Market, Costco, Wal-mart, Petsmart, Mac's, and Flowerama. It was just nice running around, no plans involved, just spending some time with her.
Today is another "bbq for the folks" day and some cleaning. I am going to relax and enjoy the day as it comes, not plan out every moment as I usually do.
Again, can I just say how excited I am for Wendover......
