Dear Diary Friday...

Oh, THANK GOD IT IS FRIDAY!!

Start your weekend off with knowing that my Toni is PERFECT! Her biopsy came back and they discovered that she is as close to normal as a monkey-alien lovin' freak can be.....big ol' wipe the sweat off of your brow and jump around naked for joy!

Day did not start off very good. I woke up, popped my birth control into my mouth, went out to the kitchen to start my morning routine and all of a sudden.....I was running to the bathroom, trying hard not to vomit! Apparently when I popped my birth control into my mouth, it lodged itself on the back of my throat and disolved and the minute it touched my tongue, the taste of the chemicals almost made me loose it! I was throwing water into my mouth trying to stop it from coming back up, I was brushing my teeth and my tongue in between fits of gagging...oh, it was wonderful!! I tried to eat breakfast, but I just could not get it down, so I just continued on with my routine, came into work, started working and THEN I got hungry!! So, big ol' McDonald breakfast for me!!

Second bad thing of the day already....put on Mary Kaye fake tanner last night......kinda did not get it even....kinda have some streaks.....kinda have streaks in between my fingers....... But at least I am laughing about it. Will be doing it all over again tonight before bed so I can even out ALL of the streaks to one nice look. I must say, however, that out of all of the fake tanners I have used, this one ACTUALLY makes it look tan, no orange! BONUS!!!!

Dear Diary Thursday....

Woke up in a WONDERFUL mood! I have so much to be thankful for and it all just hit me today. Let me catch you up, diary. Sheba is doing MUCH, MUCH better....she is almost completely back to herself....eating and drinking all on her own, her coat looks fantastic, she is being surly, and she is talking to me. I will be finishing her antibiotics, but it is nice to go from thinking I was going to have to put my cat down to having her back to normal. The yard is looking fantastic, thanks to my daddy. With him being almost completely better AND taking the daily dosage of all of the vitamins I have him on, he has more energy than ever before. I came home yesterday with all of my gardens and flower beds TILLED and he had gone and bought large African marigolds to start the color scheme of one of my flower beds. Top that off with the fact that he has spent almost two weeks MAKING me a new flower bed, complete with new bricks, and I must say, it is absolutely beautiful! My mom's tongue is completely healed and she is looking wonderful. AND, my stomach is no longer hurting. Yesterday was a horrible day, major stomach cramps to the point that I was tearing up at work. I discovered, through trial and error, that any carbonated beverage will no longer be my friend. I started only drinking tea and water yesterday afternoon and evening and woke up feeling better today than I have in a full week. And to top it off, the very love of my life is taking this weekend off so that we can be together! I could not ask for more......

Dear Diary Monday...

Here I am at home, again. This time it is due to a cat who is so sick she kept me up all night. She has a runny nose, runny eyes, a horrible sneeze. Ended up calling in sick since I went to bed with a headache and woke up with it, I did not sleep, and I needed to take her to the vet. Good thing I did as her temperature is the equivalent to if you or I had a temp of 107! She is lethargic and very tired of me squirting water down her throat to keep her hydrated! But the doctor said I have been doing everything perfect, as a cat with her temperature should be showing signs of severe dehydration and she is not. I have to keep squiring water down her throat for the next 12 to 24 hours.....WEEEE!!!
