Good Day, Good Weekend.....

Oh my gosh, let me get you caught up.....well, let me get my Canadian KEN caught up...

Weekend was good. I worked over 40 hours last week, so I took a "half" a day off on Friday and came home to do some laundry. Then I went to dinner with Toni and Rob to Red Lobster....which is always an experience, then to the surprise party for Chris. Oh my hell, we almost SURPRISED the next door neighbor when Connie took us to the wrong house!! It was nice going to Chris's house for the first time, getting together with everybody and just hanging out. Sunday, Dylan and I went shopping, to the Christmas Expo, and watched BLOW. Wish I could tell you about BLOW, but didn't get to finish it. It looked like it would have been a great show, though.

Work has been really, really busy...but good. With this new position of being the "RESEARCH SPECIALIST", I am definatly doing 100% more work than when I was on the phone....and today was a great example. I did over 20 faxes (research, get imaging, process, etc), then I had a project of voiding and rekeying 16 claims (when you void and rekey it becomes 32), then having to deal with non-stop e-mails, helping my supervisor get through her stack of shit on her desk, handling HR issues with the company that I am over, answering questions for team-mates, helping the adjustors, doing outbound calls....the list goes on and on. I love being this busy, but I am sooooooo exhausted by the end of the day. And it doesn't help that I ended up leaving work 20 minutes late, which I will end up just eating. I don't miss being on the phones, don't think I am bitching. I think the only real complaint that I have is how I am discovering some of the idiocy in my co-workers....that I am finding truly disturbing.

Looking forward to this weekend. Toni and I are going to get my hair done on Saturday. Yes, it is taking two of us to do this endeavor. Toni is taking me to her stylist and then Toni has some idea on my hair...one I think I have settled on. Cutting it all off to one length and having a short bob....that way I can grow it out to a longer bob, which Dylan loves. Then that evening we are going to a hockey game with my work. God, I hope Sunday is a day of DOING NOTHING! I plan on seeing the Harry Potter film, just don't know when.

Only 11 more months until Halloween........
