Dear Diary Wednesday....

It was a great day and I believe I can now officially say that I have completed my Christmas shopping....Except for some odds and ends. Now the wrapping starts! I use to really enjoy Christmas wrapping, but I am already HATING it and I have not even started! I think I am just overwhelmed by the amount I have purchased this year. I think it is a rebound from not being able to purchase a lot last year because of my bills all hitting at the wrong time, so I am making up for it this year. Oh well, it will be well worth it to see the happiness on everyone's face.

I also got to spend the entire day with Mom, which was fun! I took her too lunch, she got some more Christmas shopping done, and we just spent some quality time together. When we are both in good spirits, we have a blast together.

It was also nice being away from work today. After the hell of this month, and keep in mind it is only the MIDDLE OF THE MONTH, the break was needed. Now, it is not that I am not totally exhausted from running around all day, but the exhaustion is from enjoying myself, not from stress!

I can also say that my Christmas Spirit is at an all time high. I think my spirits are soaring because of not only enjoying Christmas this year, but knowing that on Saturday I will get to spend some quality time with my Dylan and my great friends, getting my energy back that has been waning. There is nothing I enjoy more than being with great friends, who have a sick sense of humor, that I don't feel that I need to be on guard with. Thank the Goddess for their devilish senses of humor.....I am sure I will be crying from laughter by the end of the movie!

Oh, and my chuckle of the day...Being able to tell someone to get over themselves. I love to give a little dose of reality every now and then......
