Dear Diary Tuesday...

Want a good chuckle? Go to www.google.com.....next step is type is "miserable failure" and then hit the "I feel lucky" button and see where it takes you. Totally appropriate to do this at work, not a porn sight. I laughed loud and hard.....

Today started off wonderfully with a beautiful e-mail from a very close, make that very BEST gay boyfriend in the entire world....it had me crying at my desk. We had a bit of a "misunderstanding" and just needed to touch base with another to let each other know we still love one another. Thank you again my friend, you mean the world to me and I thank the Fates for brining you into my life.

Then I got a beautiful basket of "goodies" from a client who is leaving my company. It had pistachios, trail mix, prailines, chocolates, and a beautiful bottle of Texas wine. Yeah, my client is from Texas and VERY proud of it! I will miss them because they always gave me a great laugh, no matter what the situation was we were trying to deal with.

Then the day went downhill. My work has suddenly taken on an atmosphere that we are unable to take care of our areas, and therefore, can not have any type of food at our desk because we are all children and will spill and can't clean up. Our division decided to have "dip week" and I made a chili cheese dip that I kept in the break room. Apparently THAT was even too much and the HR sent out a "reminder" to everyone that not even CHIPS are acceptable at your work stations. I was very loud to everyone letting them know that from this date forward, regardless of the occasion, I would NO LONGER be participating in "food days" as the company is making it impossible to enjoy almost every aspect of working for them! Yeah, maybe a little over the top, but I was not happy. I hate being treated like a child.

And it ended with being made to feel that how others act and behave has suddenly become my responsibility and my fault.

As you can see, not too many chuckles today.......
