Dear Diary Sunday....

Weekend was wonderful. I left work on Friday after putting in my 8 hours and met up with Dylan for dinner and a bit of running around. Unfortunately, my body was exhausted and we had to call it an early night. I was in bed by 9:00 pm and slept straight through until Saturday morning at 8:00 am. Oh, and Toni and Rob, I spent my Hot Topics gift certificate and got a beautiful necklace with a cat and cool book on Vampires....thank you both again!!! Oh, and there is a chick at Hot Topics who actually told me she thought for sure I was a gal in the magazine MOD who had done a pin-up lay out, Marilyn Monroesque.....I was so flattered!!

Saturday was my first full day with Dylan and his new schedule and we had a great time. We hit all of our usual haunts, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Williams and Sonoma, etc. I just had the most fantastic time, we laughed and played and just reconnected in a way that we have not in awhile. Oh, and I got to experience the Post Office on a Saturday, and Dylan made it most entertaining.

Today was not so good. I got up, not feeling as spunky as I thought I would. Ended up getting ready to go out with the folks and dry heaving for about an hour. I put on a tough face and went to breakfast....which was not a good time. We then had our shopping to do and I ended up being so sick that I was not fun at all. We finally made it home and my temperature skyrocketed. I ended up collapsing on the couch and sleeping, in and out of a delerium, for two hours. The temp finally broke and now I have a really bad headache. I think the stomach issue has passed.....thank my Goddess!!

This week is shaping up to be out of control, but thanks to my "spur of the moment" friends, it will end wonderfully! The "six pack gang" is going out to Wendover again for Thursday night and I can not wait! I have needed to get away, be around some positive individuals and reconnect. I know that my spirit is not the only one that needs to be reenergized, so I am looking forward to the giving and sharing. I am also planning on asking for next Monday and Tuesday off so that I can get some things done around this house that have been bothering me.

Oh, and great news! Spirits, the Halloween store, is now open!! Dylan and I went there on Saturday and I am worse than a kid in a candy store....I want everything! I am planning on going on a huge shopping spree in the next couple of weeks, so if you want to go with me and watch a grown woman "oh and ah" over severed limbs and burning corpses, let me know!
