Not exactly...

the type of day and evening I had planned, but it is working for me!

I spent the day doing another project that has been bothering me.....I put away the winter clothes and brought out the summer clothes and managed to discard two HUGE bags of clothes for ARC. And I came to an interesting conclussion....I have too many clothes and too many shoes (shut the fuck up Toni.). I have so many sweaters that I was astounded when putting them away because many I didn't recognized and quite a few still had the tags on them! And don't even get me started about the shoes....more than I counted last time and I think they have started to have babies! Anyways....

I also managed to clean all of the vents in the house while my mother scrubbed our tile flower, dusted the house, cleaned the bathroom (which was another project that has been bothering me) and planted a few more flowers AND "sprinkled growth from above"....in other words, I fertilized the entire yard with Miracle Gro. All in all, a good, productive day off. As for this evening....

Dylan and I were going to be having dinner with Toni and Rob but had to cancel due to 1) Dylan taking his grandfather for a check-up and 2) Toni and Rob were invited to a "must attend party of Lorene would have been offended" going away bbq for George, who got the job as an Air Marshal and will be leaving next weekend. But, then things get worse. Dylan goes and gets his grandfather to discover that last night, he lost control of his left hand and so he is up at the U of U and they are now running tests on his grandfather to see if he had a stroke! So, I spent awhile trying to locate his mother and father to let them know, since Dylan was having no luck in that area and was getting aggravated by a long event turning into an "eternity". However, I am so proud of Dylan for handling the situation as well as he did.....getting him to the hospital despite not having a clue where to take him, handling his grandmother, which is not an easy task, and keeping his cool under a pretty stressful situation. As of yet, I still haven't heard from him, so I am assuming he is still at the U hanging out. Oh, and tomorrow..

My folks are going to do the "cemetary" thing without me and I am hanging out awaiting the AT&T tech who will be coming to fix the tv.....it seems our tv when you turn the cable on will have a perfect picture for about 20 minutes and then we will get static and horrible static noise until you go and slam the wires on the back of the tv connecting to the box! We have already replaced the cables once, now they AT&T people better come and make it right. Or, I am sicking Grace on them! While the folks are away, I plan on mowing the lawn and trimming three hedges that are driving me insane! After the folks get home, I will FINALLY get to hang out with Dylan. I think we are going to try and reschedule with the Netzlers after Dylan gets back......HOPEFULLY!!!!!
