Dear Diary Thursday...

Let me start with this -

THANK GOD TODAY IS MY LAST DAY AT WORK! Okay, I feel a bit better now...

Yesterday was a long, long day. My big client was in, I was restless, nervous, and sick by the time I was finally called into meet "him" and after I had taken a brief look at him, I actually had to drop my head down to stifle the giggle that came up.....I was talking to a living, walking, breathing slug with big glasses and a horrible speech impediment. I will no longer be anything but amused by this man. And to say that he has been "humbled" since he shot me off the most rotten e-mail ever written, would not be an exaggeration. I can't go into a lot of details about this client and what I know has been going on the last couple of weeks, but I feel so much better about my job, my current position in the company, and things for the future. Plus, I got to a walking slug.....

Anyways, I was up at 12:30 this morning fixing my furnance...again....but it is working fine. Dylan is going out today and buying me a new furnace filter since I can't seem to remember to pick that up in all of my shopping frenzy. With the amount of cats and laundry we do, our furnace filter is totally compromised, which does not allow air into the furnace to light the pilot light. So, at midnight, the house was freezing!!! And a freezing house makes for a whiny and crying puppy....who cried and whined for about an hour after that....and then I got up an hour later to come into work......yeah, I'm tired.

Big hugs and love out to Connie as she is totally SWAMPED with all of her Christmas cheer. It is great to hear that she is doing so much to help out Lindi and Lindi's co-workers and everybody else on the planet to bring them holiday happiness. Remember girl, take time for yourself. A breather and a nice glass of wine go a LOOOOONNNNNNGGG way this time of year.

Also, big love and hugs out to Rob and Toni. Wishing Rob the very best energy that the Universe has to provide that he gets this job at Costco and gets out of the hell company he is working for. It would be nice to see Rob working for a company that appreciates having such a quality and loyal employee as Rob is.
