Dear Diary Monday...

The weekend actually turned out a bit better than I expected.

Friday night, Dylan and I met up with Toni and Rob at Sweet Tomatoes and enjoyed a relaxing evening of eating and great company. It was nice to sit around and relax a little bit. Dylan and I also just a little bit of shopping and then headed home, as he had to work that night.

Saturday I got up and took the Folks to the Farmer's Market and had a GREAT TIME! I could not believe how much fun my Daddy had, even though he was hurting a little bit and we had to go extra slow for him. But it was a lot of fun and my parent's enjoyed getting out of the house for a few hours. I then came home and did a little bit of relaxing and then headed over to the Netzlers for another wonderful BBQ this year.....awesome food, fantastic company, and I just don't have the space here to go on and on and on about how much fun it was.

Sunday I got up and did some HUGE amounts of yardwork (mowed, trimmed, dead-headed flowers, weeded, broomed, etc) and then relaxed for an hour and then cleaned the entire house. Dylan spent the day doing all of the laundry to get ready for his trip with Jeffy. It was nice to get the house totally cleaned, and the yard looking beautiful.

Oh and did I mention that amongst doing everything thing else this weekend, that I am also feeding and taking care of some kittens under my parent's shed? Yep, a cat and two kittens, probably about 7 weeks old. She is definetly not friendly and neither are the kittens, but they are still the Goddesses children and I will work with them the best I can. For now I am happy knowing that they have shelter, are away from danger, and getting really good food.

Dylan and Jeffy are now off to Denver for a few days and it will be a nice rest for both of us. He is needing some time away from the stresses of life PLUS he gets to see a concert with Jeffy and I get to have the house to myself for a few days and be able to just do some things that have been bugging me....like organizing my closet!
